Lifting with Prolapse Workshop

Inside this workshop, you’ll learn exactly how to properly engage your core and pelvic floor so you can lift weights without heaviness, bulging, or leaking.

By the end of the workshop you’ll:

  • know exactly why you feel prolapse symptoms with lifting and know how to fix them;

  • understand that prolapse symptoms have nothing to do with the exercises and everything to do with how you’re using your core and pelvic floor;

  • be able to do a squat without feeling leaking, heaviness or bulging;

  • realize that doing a kegel when you lift weights is NOT going to stop the leaking, heaviness or bulging and know exactly what to do instead;

  • feel confident knowing exactly how to get back to lifting heavier weights safely and confidently knowing you’re not making your prolapse worse.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • A 60 minute interactive workshop combining education and movement;

  • You’ll learn how to properly brace with lifting weights (doing a kegel ain’t it);

  • We’ll work on prolapse-specific core and pelvic floor exercises then practice using your core and pelvic floor with basic strength exercises like squats, deadlifts, presses, push-ups, etc (no matter what your fitness level or experience, you’ll be able to do them);

  • Wear clothes you can workout in and bring a water bottle!
